Yesterday Wednesday, a working session was held at Ministry of Tourism, with the promoters of tourist products and tours, in order to strengthen relations, to identify circuits and products and confirm to these representatives, the availability of the Ministry to assist themin the advancement of the tourism sector. After this meeting, it was decided that a Working Committee on tourist sites will be established, an environmental policy established and an annual event organized with the support of the Ministry, on each of the selected sites.

A meeting with the Executing Unit of the Ministry of Finance, was also held that day to see the feasibility of a deviation of the road Labadie-Cap, through Cormier in order to leave space for tourism development at the level of littoral.

Stéphanie Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism has also held a meeting with members organizers of the Jazz Festival, including Mr. Joël Widmaïer.

From June 28 to 30, a delegation led by Minister of Tourism, will attend the "Bolsa Turistica del Caribe" in the Dominican Republic, where Haiti is the guest of honor. This Thursday, the Minister will be honored by the city of Santo Domingo.
