Yvon Jérôme, Principal Mayor of the Commune of Carrefour informs us that he will present tomorrow, Monday, from 10:00 am in Room Louverture 2, of the Plaza Hotel, the results of an initiative of tax mobilization, launched last year by the administration of this Municipality.

Thanks to this initiative, revenue from communal taxes have increased by 484%, from 13 million to 63 million gourdes during the first seven months of the fiscal year 2011-2012.

The municipal administration, will take the opportunity to perform, within the framework of the implementation of its Five-Year Plan of Municipal Investment (PIM), to the launch of the first projects to be executed by the city, from this tax revenue.

In an environment where bad news are daily, this dynamic fiscal in Carrefour deserves to be congratulated and widely stressed to the attention of all sectors interested in local development and decentralization.

The Town Hall reminds the public, that "grâce fiscale" (the fiscal due) expires June 30, 2012.
