Haiti - Tourism : The Tourism Minister is very busy...

Carnival of Flowers, tourism projects of tourist circuits with the Park Martissant and of Gingerbread houses, agro-tourism in the regions of North, of South and of the Côte des Arcadins and meeting with the IDB on a 2.4 million project of the OGD were on the agenda of the Minister of Tourism for the first 3 days of the week...

Monday, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism held a meeting at the premises of the Ministry regarding the preparations of the Carnival of Flowers [29,30 and 31 July 2012]

Tuesday, she met Mrs Duvier Pierre Louis, the Director of FOKAL who came to present her various projects, including the Project of Park Martissant to the Habitation Leclerc and the rehabilitation of Gingerbread houses, that the Minister of Tourism, wishes to integrate into a tour.

Wednesday, the Minister met Mr. Alfredo Menia, Representative of the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) in Haiti, for a collaboration to create tours highlighting the agro-tourism in the regions North, South and of the Côte des Arcadins.

The same day, Stephanie Villedrouin held a meeting with the Interamerican Development Bank (IDB) to discuss a 2.4 million project of the Organization of Management of the Destination (OGD) regarding the tourist destination North.
