Haiti - Social: The First Lady, supports the Asylum St Vincent de Paul and the Sanatorium Sigueneau

The Office of the First Lady of the Republic, represented by Ms. Mona Adam, proceeded, Friday, May 25, in Léogâne, to the delivery of hundreds of medical equipment and medical kits to those responsible of the Asylum St Vincent de Paul and of Hospital Sanatorium Sigueneau. The objective was to contribute to the efforts of these institutions in the health field ajnd to salute their commitment in favor of people with special needs and those suffering from all kinds of diseases.

This delivery of donation took place in preparation to Mother's Day, this Sunday, May 27. According to Ms. Adam, the day of Mother's Day represents for the First Lady Sophia Martelly a time of sharing, of happiness and solidarity for the family, including disabled people.

Moreover, the special envoy of the First Lady, Ms. Mona Adam, met with the older people of Asylum St Vincent, whose Mrs. Junie Suffrant, 111 years old.

The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the Office of the First Lady for this humanitarian gesture.
