Haiti - NOTICE : Thursday, May 17, is not a public holiday or not working day

The Presidency of the Republic informs that the public services, schools, commerce and industry and all those interested in the question, that Thursday, May 17, 2012, Ascension Day and Catholic holy day, has not been prescribed public holiday or not working day. Consequently, May 17th is a working day.

The Minister of Interior and Territorial Collectivities inform all employees of the Ministry, at the level of offices in Port-au-Prince or of others Territorial Collectivities, that the Ministry will observe its regular hours of operation Thursday, May 17, 2012. So it is asked to all employees of the Ministry of the Interior to be present at their posts to regular work hours that day.
