Haiti - Politic : Unanimity in the Senate, Laurent Lamothe congratulates and thanks the senators

His Excellency Laurent Salvador Lamothe, the Prime Minister whose the General Policy Statement was adopted unanimously [20 for, 0 against, 0 abstentions] by the Senate of the Republic with 20 Senators present after the presentation, in this historic evening of May 8, 2012, wishes on behalf of the Haitian people and in his own name, to thank the patriotic vote, granted by the honorable Senators, in his favor, following the highly democratic debates.

The Prime Minister Laurent Salvador Lamothe reiterates once again its willingness to work with all the trends of the Senate, and with the forces of the nation which awaited this decisive vote, in order to provide concrete and immediate answers to urgent problems that knows the country. Moreover, the Prime Minister has launched in its General Policy Statement a call for unity while presenting a comprehensive plan of modern reforms, in the presence of all his Ministers.

The Prime Minister reiterated his determination to continue alongside the forces of the nation and of Parliament to work towards the collective interest and ideals of social change shared by all Haitians to achieve a reconstruction and modernization of our country.
