The Recording Secretary, the Deputy Vikens Dérilus of the Special Commission responsible for analyzing the documents of the Prime Minister-designate, Laurent Lamothe, opened the session of ratification of the Prime Minister-designate, to the Lower House before the Assembly of Deputies, Thursday, May 3, by the reading of the report of the Commission. Reading who has finished on the following words "...consequently the Commission concludes to the eligibility of the Prime Minister-designate, and asks to the Assembly to decide sovereignly on its ratification..."

Around 11:50 pm, after an beginning of session very heated and several hours of debate the lower house ratified the Prime Minister-designate, Laurent Lamothe.

Levaillant Louis Jeune, the President of the Lower House has concluded "...the intervention of the Deputy Lareche closes the debate tonight, before coming to a vote I remind the Assembly that the vote will be done according to the ection 137 of the Constitution [...] so we will vote on the report, the has a precise recommendation [...] we are going to put the report to the vote a favorable vote of the report also applies for the ratification of the Prime Minister because there is a clear recommendation, the report requests a favorable vote [...] I ask all deputies to vote one way or another, the deputies who are for the report's recommendations raise your hand please, thank you, members who are against, the deputies makes abstentions, thank you, 62 for, 3 against, 2 abstentions, the report is adopted, the Prime Minister is ratified, the session is closed thank you."
