Monday, Me Thierry Mayard Paul, Minister of Interior, local authorities and national defense convened the members of the former staff of the Armed Forces of Haiti (FAd'H) to receive the compensation due to them. A step, which should [we hope], contribute to the return to normal in our country.

"Following the recommendations of the State Commission for the Organization of the Military Component of the Public Force created by Decree on November 21, 2011 submitted to the President of the Republic, prescribing among other a solution to the problem of compensation of members of the former staff of Armed Forces of Haiti.

Considering that the Armed Forces are a decentralized service of the Ministry of Defence.

Considering that the Ministry of Interior, Local Authorities and National Defense is therefore the legal normative framework at the disposal of elected civilian authorities of the nation for the political control of the Armed Forces.

CONVOCATION

The members of the former staff of the Armed Forces of Haiti, who have not yet received by that date, from the Bureau of Management of Demobilized Soldiers (BGMD), their first and / or second tranche of the compensation process, are convened Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 10:00 am, at the headquarters of the School of Magistrates (former headquarters of the Military Academy of Haiti) located in Frères, Pétion ville, in order to finalize this phase of the process.

Beneficiaries will present themselves in this place, to the date and time indicated, with their military identification card and any other legal documents legal or administrative issued by the military institution, to verify their belonging to that institution."
