The delivery of rehabilitation works of road infrastructures at the level of crossroad Gérald Bataille by the Minustah will take place this Wednesday at City Hall of Delmas, in the presence among others of Mayor Wilson Jeudi and Mariano Fernández, the Special Representative of Secretary-General of the United Nations in Haiti during a inauguration ceremony.

It is following a request from the City of Delmas, that the Minustah has financed the repair of the roundabout located at the crossroads Gérald Bataille/Delmas 33 to the tune of 39.800 U.S. dollars. This work, which lasted one month, have consisted to the ehabilitation of the monument 1804-2004, as well as the installation of metal structures cut, around the monument and 15 solar street lights to illuminate the monument and to fight against insecurity.
