Haiti - Culture : Success of Carnival of students in Cap Haitien

Jointly organized by the city of Cap Haitien and the Regional Office North of Ministry of Tourism, the Carnival of the students was held last Friday in jubilation. Several hundred participants and many university students have participated in the parade. Walking bands, musical and allegorical floats, colorful and generous in music, dance and historical tables, made their departure from the seafront [​​on the main boulevard] and toured the city under the cheers of thousands of festival goers, tourists and people gathered for this event to dance and celebrate.

Ms. Dieudonne Étienne Luma, Director of the Regional Office North of Ministry of Tourism thanked the Ministry of Tourism, for his contribution to the success of Carnival of students in Cap Haitien and stressed that the Carnival could also be an attraction and an instrument to promote tourism "That's what we're trying to do in the city of Cap Haitien" and it is also what many students have do, by calling on the course, the tourists present by inviting them to come back to visit the region.
