Haiti - Politic : Martelly on tour in Venezuela and Panama

This Friday, in the morning, the President Martelly will leave the country for a tour which will lead him successively to Venezuela from February 3 to 5 and Panama from February 5 to 7.

The President Martelly believes that the relations between Haiti and Venezuela, like other friendly countries, are especially significant, particularly because of special historical links of solidarity that has developed between the two states and is therefore committed to strengthen them. His efforts are part of the perspective of improving the living conditions of the Haitian people.

In Panama, the Head of State, will discuss the regulation of commercial activities of Haitians relating to the long delays in the issuing of visas [2 to 3 months] and will address among other the treatment inflicted to the Haitian nationals.

The President of the Republic will also take advantage on this tour, to continue to promote the country where there are interesting business opportunities that can attract foreign investors, including Venezuelans and Panamanians.
