On Friday, August 14, 2026, the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) closed the registration period for political groups and informed the general public, and political actors in particular, of the publication of the final list of approved political structures, in accordance with Article 129 of the Electoral Decree of June 2nd, 2026 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-48085-haiti-flash-2026-2027-electoral-calendar-latest-official-version.html

The official report, issued by a Justice of the Peace in the municipality of Pétion-ville, confirming the closure of the political group registration process at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 14, 2026, noted that no political groups had been registered with the electoral body.

Thus, the registration process for political parties, groups, and coalitions resulted in the approval of one hundred and five (105) political entities, including seventeen (17) political groups and eighty-eight (88) political parties.
