Haiti - Politic : The President of Brazil Dilma Rousseff, soon in Haiti

Antonio Patriota, the Brazilian Minister of Foreign Affairs, confirmed that the President of Brazil Dilma Rousseff, at the occasion of her first international tour, after a visit to Cuba on January 31, will travel to Haiti Wednesday 1st February, as part of the development of bilateral cooperation.

During her visit, the Brazilian President should inaugurated a new power plant on the Artibonite River. Laurent Lamothe, the Minister of Foreign Affairs announced that a project under development proposing a new model based on cooperation and investment, mobilizing the public and private sectors of Brazil and Haiti, as part of public-private partnership, will be discussed.

The Brazilian Chancellor confirmed that the President Rousseff, will reaffirm during the visit, its intention to intensify the cooperation in agriculture, vocational training and the expansion of partnerships in health in conjunction with Cuba.
