Distribution of Live Rabbits and Chickens

In the coming months, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO Haiti) will distribute 19,000 rabbits and 70,000 chickens in the Artibonite, West, and Central departments of Haiti as part of its emergency food production campaign, funded by the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).

Bolivia : Donation of Pentavalent Vaccine to Haiti

The Bolivian Ministry of Health and Sports has donated 128,032 doses of pentavalent vaccine to Haiti. This contribution aims to protect children under five years of age against five serious diseases: diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), hepatitis B, and invasive Haemophilus influenzae type b infections (such as meningitis and pneumonia). The shipment was made in collaboration with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and is expected to arrive in the coming days, stated Bolivian Health Minister Marcela Flores Zambrana. The complete vaccination schedule includes five doses administered at the following developmental stages: 2 months; 4 months; 6 months; 18 months; and 4 years.

Haiti Discusses Mango Exports to Beijing

On Tuesday, June 30, 2026, John Peter César, Haiti’s Acting Representative in China, met in Beijing at the offices of Haiti’s Trade Development Agency in the People’s Republic of China with Qin Jinsong, North China Regional Director for Sales Channels of Joy Wing Mau, one of the largest fruit distribution and import-export groups in China. Discussions focused on conditions of access to the Chinese market and requirements related to mango quality, shipping logistics, supply regularity, and the organization of the production and export chain. Following the meeting, officials agreed to continue discussions with a view to establishing a long-term partnership.
