PNH Message to the Public

The PNH emphasizes that it is difficult to guarantee the safety of those who choose to remain or travel in operational areas, especially when there are direct confrontations between law enforcement and terrorist criminals.

IFH : 80 Years of the Conjonction magazine

The French Institute in Haiti (IFH) is celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Conjonction magazine, an emblematic publication of Haitian intellectual and cultural life, founded in 1946. To mark this occasion, the IFH announces the publication of issue number 230, marking the continuation of this major publishing venture. After a few years' hiatus, the review reconnected with its readership through the publication of issue number 229, dedicated to the paths of Haitian thought. Issue number 230, devoted to Creole-language literature, now extends this editorial momentum and demonstrates the IFH's commitment to preserving, supporting, and promoting spaces for intellectual production in Haiti. To celebrate the magazine's 80th anniversary and the release of its new issue, two roundtables followed by book signings of issues 229 and 230 of Conjonction will be held on June 5 and 6, 2026, at the Brazil-Haiti Cultural Center (CCBH), starting at 10:00 a.m.

Actor Jimmy Jean-Louis at Livre en Folie
