Haiti - Call for applications : National recruitment of the FAd'H (official) 04/06/2026 09:30:47
The Ministry of Defense informs all interested parties that the Armed Forces of Haiti (FAd'H) are organizing a national recruitment campaign from June 8 to 12, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., in all ten (10) geographic departments of the country. This recruitment is open to two (2) categories of candidates: those applying for the rank of soldier and those applying for technical positions (approximately one thousand members: soldiers, non-commissioned officers, and officers in total). The technical professional profiles sought include: Engineering and Architecture : Civil Engineer, Architect, Agricultural Engineer; Medicine: General Practitioner, Internist, Surgeon, Neurologist, Ophthalmologist, Anesthesiologist, etc.; and Law: Lawyer, Criminal Lawyer. General recruitment requirements for these two categories : • Be of Haitian nationality; • Be at least 1.70 meters tall for men and 1.60 meters tall for women (special considerations will apply to candidates interested in technical management positions); • Be between 18 and 25 years old (25 to 35 years old for candidates interested in technical positions); • Enjoy full civil and political rights; • Be physically and mentally fit; • Never have been convicted of a serious crime or felony; • Be available to undergo rigorous military training; • Meet at least one social profile criterion (see the list of social profile criteria on the Ministry's website or at https://www.haitilibre.com/article-47580-haiti-flash-les-fad-h-vont-lancer-un-recrutement-massif-dans-les-10-departements.html) Required application documents : • A copy of the birth certificate or an extract from the National Archives; • A valid Tax Identification Number (NIF); • A copy of the National Unique Identification Card (CINU); • Proof of the required academic level (copy of the 9th grade certificate for candidates for the position of soldier, and a copy of at least a bachelor's degree for candidates for technical positions); • A certificate of good conduct (issued by the Court or the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ)); • Four (4) photos ID photos (2 front-facing, 2 profile); • Two (2) letters of recommendation and one (1) cover letter Application Submissions : For the West Department : Anacaona military base in Léogâne and Clercine base in Port-au-Prince; For other departments : the offices of the Civil Protection Directorates.
