To date, the CEP has received no communication or requests from the executive branch concerning potential changes (https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-47501-zapping-haiti-of-may-11-2026.html). The CEP does not recognize a supposed amended version of the decree currently circulating, which allegedly contains significant modifications of which it was not informed (which is unlikely).

Gamma Laboratory Owner Shot Dead

On Tuesday, May 26, 2026, Dr. Roger Germain, owner of the Gamma Laboratory, was killed in Bourdon, near the Ministry of Planning. Food Aid Distribution

On Tuesday, May 26, 2026, the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES), in partnership with the General Directorate of Civil Protection (DGPC), distributed 3,000 hot meals of rice and chicken to displaced persons as part of its Mobile Canteen operations: 500 hot meals at the new site in Bouzy, opposite the airport; 700 at the MEDIC site in Maïs Gâté; 1,500 hot meals at the Athletic Site of Haiti, Cité Soleil, and 300 hot meals at the Fontaine Site, Cité Soleil.
