As Haiti's historic participation in the 2026 Football World Cup approaches, the Government is mobilizing around a common vision : to make this event an exceptional showcase in order to present another image of the country to the rest of the world.

On the instructions of Prime Minister Fils-Aimé, Ministers Stéphanie Smith (Tourism), Pythagore Dumas (Youth and Sports), Raina Forbin (Foreign Affairs), Kathia Verdier (Diaspora, MHAVE), as well as Emmanuel Ménard (Culture) met to define the main directions of this participation which goes far beyond the sporting framework.

National and international mobilization :

The Haitian state is preparing a vast mobilization, both nationally and internationally, in order to proudly fly the Haitian bicolor during this great competition.

The role of the Diaspora :

One of the key points is the strategic role of MHAVE in raising awareness among the Haitian diaspora.

Support for the Grenadiers :

The objective is to remain mobilized to support the Grenadiers, whether through a massive presence in the stadiums, the organization of patriotic activities or solidarity movements aimed at promoting Haiti on the international scene.

This strategic meeting marks the start of a national dynamic aimed at promoting the tourist, cultural and human potential of Haiti through this global meeting. Beyond football, it is about highlighting the talent, creativity, resilience, courage and pride of a people determined to write a new page in their history.
