As part of its development strategy and in accordance with the guidelines of FIFA and the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) regarding grassroots football development, the Haitian Football Federation (FHF) announces the official creation of the Youth Football Department.

This new entity is part of a comprehensive vision aimed at strengthening the foundations of Haitian football through structured, inclusive, and sustainable support for young players, while fostering the emergence of a competitive next generation at the national and international levels.

The Youth Football Department's main responsibilities will be to :

• Implement a national youth football development policy aligned with international standards;

• Identify, register, and monitor young talent through a structured scouting and training system;

• Organize and harmonize youth competitions in collaboration with regional and departmental leagues, in compliance with regulations;

• Ensure the preparation and participation of national youth teams in competitions organized by FIFA and CONCACAF;

• Contribute to the establishment of a National Youth Football League, a key pillar of long-term development.

The FHF also announces the appointment of the members of the Youth Football Department :

- Fleurant Antoine, President;

- Saint Surin Richard, Vice-President;

- Ricardo Pierre-Louis, Coordinator;

- Vanessa Gabriel Michel Jean, Safeguarding Officer;

- Katia Saint-Gilles, Member.

Through this initiative, the Federation reaffirms its commitment to adhering to international best practices in football development, with a focus on training, the protection of young players, integrity, and sporting excellence.
