National Agriculture and Labor Day, rain of messages (video)

Ministry of Agriculture :

"Dear fellow citizens, dear farmers, and workers in all sectors. On this May 1st, a day dedicated to both Agriculture and Labor, I wish to salute with profound respect and immense gratitude all those who, through their daily efforts, contribute to feeding the nation and moving our country forward. [...] To you, women and men of the fields, who work the land with dignity, often in difficult conditions, the Nation owes you recognition. Your commitment is essential to food security and the sustainable development of Haiti. […] I pay tribute to all Haitian workers, in cities and in rural areas, whose daily labor constitutes the lifeblood of our society. Work is a right, but also a dignity that deserves protection, recognition, and appreciation.

May this May 1st be a moment of reflection, but also a call for unity, solidarity, and collective action to build a more just, stronger, and more prosperous Haiti. Happy Agriculture and Labor Day to all. Long live work, long live agriculture, long live Haiti! – Pierre-Richard René, Director General.

Minister for the Status of Women: On this May 1st, a day dedicated to celebrating Agriculture and Labor Day, Pedrica Saint Jean, Minister for the Status of Women, pays tribute to all Haitian workers who, through their courage, perseverance, and daily commitment, actively contribute to the survival, resilience, and economic and social development of the Nation.

On this occasion, the Minister wishes to highlight the essential, and often insufficiently recognized, contribution of women in all sectors of national life.
