On Friday, March 13, 2026, Sandra Paulemon, the new Minister of Planning and External Cooperation (MPCE), organized a workshop with the Study and Programming Units (UEP) of the sectoral ministries to develop the revised Public Investment Program (PIP) for 2025-2026. This initiative reflects Prime Minister Fils-Aimé's commitment to strengthening the effectiveness of public investment and directing state resources toward structuring projects capable of producing concrete results for the population. In her remarks, Minister Paulemon reiterated that the PIP is a central instrument for implementing the Government's development policy, enabling the transformation of national priorities into projects and programs financed by the State and international cooperation. She invited the electoral commissions (UEPs) to propose realistic and rigorously prepared projects aligned with the Government's priorities, particularly strengthening security, economic recovery, and creating the necessary conditions for organizing the upcoming elections, in accordance with the National Pact for Stability and the Organization of Elections signed on February 21, 2026 (https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-46925-haiti-politic-presentation-of-the-national-pact-for-stability-and-the-organization-of-elections-video.html).
