Haiti - U-17 Qualifier 2026 World Cup Morocco : «D-5» Our Grenadières in training

The first part of the Haitian U-17 delegation has arrived in Costa Rica to begin the final stretch of its preparations for the final phase of the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Morocco.

Determined to approach this competition in the best possible condition, the Haitian team, led by coach Frenoy Baptiste, has established its base camp in San José, where the young Grenadières have begun to settle in.

The day after their arrival, some players have already resumed training with a recovery session and light exercises designed to loosen their legs after the journey. The group is now preparing to get down to business with its first real training session scheduled for this afternoon at a private sports complex located near the delegation's hotel.

The Grenadières will thus have six days of intensive preparation to refine their teamwork, strengthen their cohesion, and hone their strategy before the start of the competition.

To complete this preparation phase, the Haitian national team will also play a friendly match against their Costa Rican counterparts on Friday, March 14, 2026. This match will allow the coaching staff to make final adjustments before the first official game.

Our Grenadières will begin their qualifying campaign on March 17 against the "Coqui Warriors" the Puerto Rican national team, with the ambition of taking another step forward and bringing Haiti closer to a historic qualification for the U17 Women's World Cup scheduled for Morocco (October-November 2026).

As a reminder, twelve countries have qualified for this final qualifying round : Haiti, Bermuda, Canada, Costa Rica, El Salvador, the United States, Jamaica, Nicaragua, Mexico, Panama, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic.

Our Grenadières, coached by Frenchman Frenoy Baptiste, find themselves in Group B, alongside the United States, Puerto Rico, and Bermuda.

Schedule for the final qualifying round, Group B :

March 17, 2026 :

Haiti vs. Puerto Rico

March 19 :

Haiti vs. United States

March 22 :
