Double Attack in Kenscoff

The Kenscoff City Hall strongly condemns the deadly attacks perpetrated on December 26 and 27, 2025, in Obissa Bourette and Mahotière Bourette by heavily armed groups. Several people were killed, others wounded, and numerous houses were burned or looted.

The RNDDH Accuses 7 CIMO Officers of Collaboration

In a letter addressed to the Inspector General of the Haitian National Police (IGPNH), the National Network for the Defense of Human Rights (RNDDH) accuses seven officers of the Departmental Unit for Maintaining Order (UDMO) of selling ammunition to gangs, providing them with information on police movements during anti-gang operations, and sharing tollbooth revenue with them. The RNDDH is calling on the IGPNH to open an investigation so that legal proceedings can be initiated.

Paris : Consulate General of Haiti Closed

Haiti -2.7% GDP (2025)

The report on the Economic Accounts for 2025, published by the Haitian Institute of Statistics and Informatics (IHSI), confirms that Haiti is experiencing its seventh consecutive year of economic decline. Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is projected to contract by 2.7% in 2025, bringing the cumulative decline over seven years to 16%.
