Two CIMO officers kidnaped

On Friday, December 19, 2025, two officers from the Intervention and Law Enforcement Corps (CIMO), Ézéchiel Maître and Fleurant Philippe, were kidnapped by heavily armed individuals while traveling on a Sans Souci bus in the Canaan area. According to the National Union of Haitian Police Officers (SYNAPOHA), the kidnappers targeted only these two officers, allowing the bus and other passengers to continue their journey.

Bahamas : Haitian embassy visits inmates in prison

On Thursday, December 18, 2025, the Haitian Embassy in the Bahamas visited the Correctional Services Department at Fox Hill Prison. During the visit, the Embassy delegation met with Haitian inmates, providing them with moral support and distributing hygiene kits.
