Haiti - FLASH : Citizens of 34 countries affected by total or partial restrictions on entering the USA
Citizens of 34 countries are affected by the restrictive entry measures to the US decreed by President Trump, including 19 countries subject to a total ban (including Haiti).
On Tuesday, December 16, 2025, US President Donald Trump expanded, by Executive order, the list of citizens of seven new countries subject to a total travel ban to the US : Burkina Faso, Laos, Mali, Niger, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Syria.
The executive order also prohibits entry to individuals holding travel documents issued or endorsed by the Palestinian Authority.
Trump also imposed partial restrictions on citizens of 15 other countries : Angola, Antigua and Barbuda, Benin, Ivory Coast, Dominica, Gabon, Gambia, Malawi, Mauritania, Nigeria, Senegal, Tanzania, Tonga, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
