On Friday, November 14, 2025, the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) submitted to the Executive branch the complete calendar for the upcoming elections, along with the draft electoral decree. According to this calendar, Haiti should have a new president in early 2027…

These documents must now be officially recognized by the Executive branch through publication in the official journal "Le Moniteur."

In submitting these documents to the Executive branch, the CEP emphasized that the successful implementation of the electoral calendar depends on meeting certain prerequisites :

• Publication of the electoral decree within the allotted timeframe;

• Acceptable security conditions;

• Availability of the necessary financial resources to conduct the process and ensure the continuity of actions initiated by the CEP.
