Pétion-ville : Demonstrations and Gatherings Prohibited

In a letter addressed to the Director General of the Haitian National Police (PNH), the municipal administration of Pétion-Ville, under the leadership of Mayor Kesner Normil, justifies the prohibition of all demonstrations and public gatherings within the municipality between November 14 and 20, 2025. This decision is motivated by the resurgence of violent acts and the risk of infiltration by individuals likely to disturb public order, in accordance with Article 68 of the law of July 29, 2016.

Workshop on Community Justice

The Association of Justices of the Peace of Haiti (AJUPAH) organized a workshop on community justice, bringing together 95 participants. This initiative, supported by the Justice and Anti-Impunity Support Program (PAJLI) implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP - Haiti) and funded by the Embassy of Canada in Haiti, aims to strengthen a more inclusive and accessible community-based justice system.

2025 National Taekwondo Championship
