Haiti - Diaspora : Call for projects Quebec-Haiti 2025-2027

This call for projects covers the period 2025-2027 and contributes to the implementation of the cooperation agreement between the Government of Quebec and the Government of Haiti. It is part of the Quebec Territorial Strategy for Latin America and the Caribbean (STALA) and strengthens Quebec's relations with Haiti.

Objectives :

• Support the implementation of innovative and structuring activities that produce concrete benefits in the targeted sectors;

• Strengthen institutional exchanges between Quebec and Haiti by supporting the implementation of activities likely to generate direct benefits in sectors of mutual interest;

• Encourage networking, collaboration, the sharing of expertise, and the development of lasting partnerships between Quebec and Haitian organizations;

• Promote a deeper knowledge and understanding of the two societies, their similarities and specificities by taking into account the cultural, social, economic, and territorial factors of the projects;

• Increase collaboration (remotely in the current context) between workers, youth, researchers, entrepreneurs, artists, and students;

• Promote results and give greater visibility to concrete achievements in order to disseminate knowledge to target audiences and populations on both sides.

• Agriculture

• Education

• Economy

• Environment and Sustainable Development

• Vocational and Technical Training

• Health and Social Services

• Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, projects must :

• Involve at least one Quebec partner and one Haitian partner;

• Be part of one of the targeted sectors;

• Promote long-term exchanges between Quebec and Haiti;

• Produce tangible, mutually beneficial benefits for Quebec and Haitian partners;

• End no later than November 30, 2027;

• Be the subject of a complete application upon submission;

• Respect the application deadline date and time (any application received after 4:00 p.m. on October 29, 2025, will not be reviewed);

• Partners must demonstrate that they are able to carry out their project in its entirety, respecting the budgetary framework presented and the established timeline;

Special attention will be given to projects involving Quebec and Haitian partners from the regions (outside major urban centers).

Ineligible projects : International solidarity projects, individual or unilateral in nature, such as performance tours or language stays.

To be eligible, the applicant must :

To obtain financial support, projects must be submitted by Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada living in Quebec.

• Be a legal entity whose head office is established in Quebec;

• Be legally constituted and registered and not be in default under the laws that apply to it. govern.

Deadline for submitting a project : October 29, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. (Quebec time).
