Haiti - Beach Volleyball : Haiti wins bronze medal at the CAZOVA U-18 Caribbean Championship

The Haitian Volleyball Federation (FHVB) announced that the Haitian volleyball duo Luckenly Joseph and Philippe Julien won the bronze medal at the CAZOVA U-18 Caribbean Beach Volleyball Championship held in Trinidad & Tobago.

In a match that was controlled from start to finish, the Haitian beach volleyball players defeated the Martinique team in two sets to zero [21-18 / 21-19], confirming their excellent progress. This was a remarkable performance for this duo, who were participating in their very first international tournament.

"It's a source of immense pride for all of us. Luckenly and Philippe demonstrated great maturity and unwavering commitment. This result validates the efforts made by the Federation to structure beach volleyball in Haiti," said team coach and National Beach Volleyball Program Coordinator Pedro Cedeme.

It should be noted that for several months now, the National Technical Directorate (DTN) of the FHVB has strengthened its commitment to the development of beach volleyball throughout the country. This success is part of a broader program aimed at training a new generation of beach volleyball players.

Over the next three months, the Federation plans to :

• Scouting sessions in several departments;

• Technical training for players and coaches;

• The organization of local championships to boost competition.

This in-depth work aims to build a true beach volleyball culture in Haiti and position the country as a competitive player at the regional and international levels.

The FHVB warmly thanks the Haitian Olympic Committee (COH) for its financial support, which enabled these young beach volleyball players to experience this wonderful adventure.
