FNE : Changes to School Support Grant Applications
To ensure the traceability, fairness, effectiveness, and reliability of school support grant applications, which are submitted for review by the relevant departments of the National Education Fund (FNE), the FNE General Directorate informs the educational community in general, and parents in particular, that they must now submit their grant applications exclusively to the Departmental Directorate of Education (DDE) in their place of residence. FNE technical services will process grant applications exclusively from DDEs.

PNH : Seizures of Weapons of International Origin
On Wednesday, June 28, Police Spokesperson, Divisional Commissioner Michel Ange Louis Jeune, presented a partial update on recent operations conducted in Mirebalais and the Port-au-Prince metropolitan area. Ten firearms, eight in Mirebalais and two in Kenscoff, including assault rifles from Israel, Romania, and Turkey, as well as two drones, magazines, five radios, telephones, and various equipment from several specialized PNH units, were seized. Several terrorists were fatally injured during these operations conducted by the SWAT Team, the Research and Intervention Brigade (BRI), and the Departmental Operations and Intervention Brigade (BOID).

The MSF hospital in Tabarre continues to operate...
Antoine Michon, French Ambassador to Haiti, visited the Médecins Sans Frontières hospital in Tabarre on Tuesday. This high-level hospital is the only burn center in the country and has a trauma center that treats thousands of patients each year. Its admirable team of 500 people—surgeons, doctors, and nurses—continues to operate despite difficult conditions.

CARICOM attempts dialogue again
The CARICOM Group of Eminent Persons (GPE) has contacted the Haitian stakeholders who proposed the candidacy to ensure their willingness to meet and discuss the current situation in the country at a crucial time in the transition process. In this regard, their perspectives will be important at the CARICOM Heads of Government Conference in Jamaica in early July 2025, to discuss regional issues on their agenda, including the situation in Haiti and CARICOM's continued support for the people and for Haiti.

OAS : Towards a Resolution with Concrete Solutions
At the OAS General Assembly scheduled for June 25-27, a resolution calling for the implementation of concrete solutions to resolve the crisis in Haiti is expected to be adopted by the Assembly.

Consulate in Atlanta Closed
The Consulate General of Haiti in Atlanta informs the Haitian community in particular that its offices will be closed on Thursday, June 19, 2025, in observance of Corpus Christi and Juneteenth. The Mission will resume its regular activities on Friday, June 20, starting at 9:00 a.m.
