Several specialized units of the Haitian National Police (PNH) are continuing operations in the Pernier area, in the commune of Pétion-ville, with the aim of dismantling the home of the criminal gang "Kraze Baryè," led by Vitelhomme Innocent.

On Saturday, June 7, 2025, during a police operation, several bandits were fatally injured in an exchange of fire with law enforcement. In addition, an M4 rifle, ammunition, a pistol, three cell phones, and various other equipment were seized.

Furthermore, on the same day, a joint operation between the police and the suicide drone unit failed to capture or neutralize Vitelhomme Innocent, leader of the "Kraze Baryè" gang. This setback is attributable to a lack of strategic coordination between HNP units and the lack of precise geolocation of the target. Video footage captured by the drone unit reveals that Vitelhomme and several of his lieutenants fled the scene in two vehicles, before abandoning them en route and continuing their escape on foot in the Dumay neighborhood of the commune of Tabarre.
