Haiti - Politic : Elections, 400 million savings

Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, accompanied by members of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), continues to implement the Government's commitments regarding the organization of the constitutional referendum and the upcoming general elections.

A technical visit was conducted to the center where sensitive and non-sensitive electoral equipment is stored. More than 15,000 digital tablets for voter registration are already available. Nine containers of electoral equipment are ready for deployment in the regions, each batch carefully classified by department.

Furthermore, thanks to a strategic stockpile acquired since 2021 (ballot boxes, voting booths, lamps, wax crayons, indelible ink, etc...), savings of more than 400 million gourdes have been achieved.

Through these concrete initiatives, the State reaffirms its commitment to restoring constitutional order, strengthening citizen participation, and ensuring a transparent, credible, and inclusive electoral process.

Alongside this democratic commitment, the Prime Minister is intensifying his efforts to address the security emergency facing the country. He reaffirmed his determination to equip the country with modern, disciplined, and highly qualified armed forces capable of effectively addressing current challenges, particularly those related to insecurity.

The restoration of order, the establishment of lasting peace, and the consolidation of popular sovereignty remain the Government's priorities.
