Saturday, March 1st, 2025, a large-scale operation involving several specialized units and offensive drones is underway in Bas-Delmas in the territory of Jimmy Chérizier alias "Barbecue".

As part of this operation, several bandits have already been fatally injured and heavy weapons and ammunition seized.

The heavy equipment team of the Haitian National Police (PNH) was mobilized to clear the streets, allowing the population to move around and resume their activities.

For the first time, the PNH used drones capable of dropping explosives on identified targets, a strategy that would have made it possible to neutralize several members of the gang. Asked about this new strategy, the PNH spokesperson said that in this fight against terrorists "everything is allowed".
