The Ministry of Public Health and Population (MSPP) is launching a call for applications for the hiring of 430 nurses (man / woman) who are qualified and licensed by the Haitian State.

Recruitment will be done by competitive examination.

Competition date : March 12, 2024.

Location : Simultaneously in the 10 Departmental Health Directorates (DDS) across the national territory.

Number of positions available (430) :

- 60 nurses in the West department;

- 50 in the Artibonite department;

- 40 in the other 8 departments each.

Eligibility requirements

Candidates must :

- Be of Haitian nationality;

- Have a degree in Nursing and licensed by the Haitian State;

- Be under 50 years of age at the time of application;

- Have experience in nursing (experience in the public or private sector is an asset);

- Be available to work in any department, commune and communal section of the country according to the needs of the MSPP

Application file :

Candidates must submit a complete file including:

- A cover letter addressed to the Minister of Public Health and Population;

- A detailed curriculum vitae with address, telephone number and/or email address;

- A copy of the nursing diploma;

- A copy of the Haitian State-issued license or state license or proof of passing state exams;

- A copy of the birth certificate or extract from archives;

- A copy of the national identification card (CIN);

- A copy of the tax registration number (NIF);

- A work certificate or any document justifying professional experience (if available).

Application submission procedures :

Applications must be submitted in person to the office of the Departmental Health Directorate (DDS) of the candidate's department of residence no later than March 7, 2024.

Candidates can also send a digital version in PDF format to the email address of the DOS concerned.

Selection process :

Recruitment will be carried out in several stages:

- Evaluation of application files (verification of required documents);

- Written competition on March 12, 2024;

- Interview with a jury for preselected candidates;

- Publication of results and assignment to health establishments in the country.
