The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MCI) through the Legal Affairs Department informs commercial companies, financial institutions and the general public that, "as part of the strengthening of procedures for registering and managing trade names, a new standardized certificate has been introduced.

From now on, trade name registration certificates issued by the MCI have a QR code and a sticker decorated with a dry seal to ensure their authenticity and traceability. This system is part of the continuity of the modernization initiated with the establishment of the Sole Proprietorship Registration and Prior Art Search Platform.

The Ministry invites users and institutions concerned to take the necessary steps to integrate this new format into their administrative and financial procedures."

Application for registration :

The Ministry also informs that any application for registration of a sole proprietorship must now be submitted in the form of a form.

This form is established in accordance with the provisions of Article 1132-3 of the law of May 21, 2018 reforming the status of the merchants and commercial acts and organizing the Trade Register. This measure aims to simplify registration procedures and ensure better management of commercial registers.
