Sherline Céliscar, the Acting Chief Consul of the Consulate General of Haiti in Santiago, Dominican Republic, attended last week the inauguration of Haitian-Dominican Health Services (SESAHD), a Private Outpatient Health Center, created by the Haitian diaspora in the Community, aimed at diversifying Haitian actions in the Cibao Region.

SESAHD is located in the city of Santiago de los Caballeros, more precisely in the Altagracia sector, which includes a fairly influential Haitian community, requiring health care within its reach.

SESAHD is open to all with special attention to the Haitian population living inside and outside the Dominican Republic. This Center has a team of professionals who can assist patients in different languages ​​(Spanish, French, Creole and English) to ensure a correct exchange of information for a correct diagnosis.

SESAHD offers services in urology, pediatrics, nutrition, psychology, oncology, cardiology, gynecology, internal medicine, gastroenterology, pain medicine, among others.

Consul Sherline Céliscar salutes the "immeasurable effort" of the compatriot, Dr. Oriol Jean Baptiste and his team who were able to put their know-how at the service of an entire community. This is evidence of a dynamic community, which mobilizes daily to carry the genius of our country.

By offering its services to all, it is proof that the Haitian Community in the Dominican Republic, particularly in Santiago, is open to sharing Culture and know-how.
