25 arrests following that of Profane Victor

The Haitian National Police (PNH) announces that it has arrested 25 other individuals during the operation that led to the arrest of former MP Profane Victor https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-44050-icihaiti-justice-former-deputy-prophane-victor-arrested.html , including a brother and a son of the former Depuy. The latter are being questioned at the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ) while the PNH announces that it has seized 7 vehicles, several computers and surveillance camera servers.

Diaspora passports

Antoine Jean Simon Fénelon, Director of the Directorate of Immigration and Migration (DIE), and Ms. J.E. Kathia Verdier, Minister of Haitians Living Abroad, discussed the processing and delivery of passports for the benefit of the diaspora. Sustainable solutions were considered and a Memorandum of Understanding is reportedly being prepared.

The discussions focused on waste management, sanitation and access to drinking water for displaced populations.

FAO : Distribution of 37.5 tons of seeds

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO-Haiti) distributed 37.5 tons of seeds in Artibonite, to allow rural communities affected by insecurity to regain a nutritious diet (7.5 tons of corn, 15 tons of peas, 15 tons of beans). A first step towards a return to accessible food.
