This visit demonstrates the Minister's determination to meet with police officers who are giving their all to fight the armed gangs that are particularly prevalent in the Haitian capital...

This visit was an opportunity to motivate the troops and strengthen them in their fight to bring peace and security to Haiti.

The Minister of Justice took the opportunity to discuss with SWAT officers injured during operations carried out by the Haitian National Police (PNH) to dislodge the bandits who are sowing terror in neighborhoods of Port-au-Prince.

Minister Pelissier gave the assurance to these agents who are on all fronts that materials and equipment will be made available to them so that they can carry out their mission.
