Haiti - FLASH : President Macron interferes and insults Haitian authorities (Video)
In a video recorded before the French President left for Chile on Tuesday evening and without the presence of the press, posted on social networks, President Emmanuel Macron in Brazil for the G20, sparked controversy, by responding on the sidelines of the summit, to a question asked by a Haitian in front of the historic facade of the Docas Dom Pedro II :
"[...] Frankly, it was the Haitians who killed Haiti. By letting drug trafficking… And now look what they did, the Prime Minister [Garry Conille] was great, I defended him, they fired him. It’s terrible! It’s terrible! I can’t replace him. They’re completely stupid. They should never have removed him [dismissed him]. The Prime Minister was great."
