Haitian company "Askanya Chocolates" and its chocolates made in Haiti since 2015, will be a featured vendor at Macy’s Indoor Christmas Market in New York from November 1st, 2024 to January 1st, 2025.

Haitian-American engineer Corinne Joachim Sanon Symietz (role model and inspiring woman 2022 hhttps://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-38011-icihaiti-social-50-model-and-inspiring-haitian-women-2022-list.html ) decided to create ethical and gourmet chocolates for chocolate connoisseurs around the world. Corinne also wanted her social impact business to generate direct income for the 3,000 or so Haitian farmers who grow high-quality cocoa with whom her team works, but also to create full-time jobs for young women.
