On Thursday, October 31, 2024, Gabriel Ronald, Governor of the Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH), spoke at the scholarship award ceremony for the laureates of the Autonomous University of Port-au-Prince / BRH and Conference of Rectors, Presidents and Directors of Haitian Higher Education Institutions competition.

This program, 100% funded by the BRH, made it possible, through a rigorous selection process, to recruit 60 scholarship recipients for a master's degree in Finance and Audit, two essential and strategic fields for the development of the Haitian financial ecosystem.

On this occasion, the Governor emphasized that "Human capital is at the center of any socio-economic transformation of the country. An expenditure allocated to training is an intelligent intertemporal choice and an investment that drives sustainable development."

Thus, through this initiative, the BRH intends to contribute to strengthening the capacities of public and private institutions, while promoting the knowledge economy.
