Haiti - Case Bélizaire : Joseph Lambert recommends to move on

The Senator Kély Bastien believes that the Commission has not sufficiently thorough its recommendations, given the seriousness of the charges, he lamented that the senators were unable to hold their position relatively to the resolution voted by the deputies, who demanded among others, the resignations of Ministers of Justice and Interior.

Following the vote of withdrawal [at the initiative of Senators Lambert and Latortue] of point F of specific recommendations of the report of the Commission, https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-4316-haiti-case-belizaire-garry-conille-and-thierry-mayard-paul-will-not-be-interpellated.html , which cancels the interpellation of the Prime Minister and of Minister of Interior, the Senator Joseph Lambert believes that the Executive has taken a major step by offering the resignation of its Minister of Justice to the Parliament.

"...I'm only obeyed to all that the colleagues of the Commission asked. hey called for solidarity, cohesion, work together... [...] all that was written before the resignation of Josué Pierre Louis [...] We believe now, that we must try to take this opportunity for at least can reconcile with itself. For once and for all, we launched the country's major projects, social, economic and political, for this kind of blunder, once and for all, does not happen again.

That's what makes me say, that instead of going into a logic of interpellation, of interpellation, of interpellation... and to keep the nation in hostage, around one question : Arnel Bélizaire, I say there is enough water who has flowed under the bridge now, it would be necessary once and for all, to clear the table and starts working again..."

However, in his statement, the Senator Lambert forgets to tell us voluntarily, what happens with the Deputy Bélizaire... Justice must also clear the table and move on... ? And if the Parliament, was in its turn, a major step by waiving the immunity of deputy Bélizaire so that it can respond of the allegations against him before the justice....?
