Prime Minister Garry Conille has issued a Memorendum to all authorising officers of public administration institutions including guidelines for preparing the budget in the face of urgent requirements and challenges posed by the current crisis. These budgetary guidelines aim to guide the use of national resources in ways that maximize their impact on the country's economic and social recovery

Excerpt "[...] The budget for the 2024-2025 financial year aims to support the implementation of sectoral actions and policies resulting from the roadmaps approved by the Head of Government, with the aim of addressing current challenges and better managing the political transition process, while ensuring the holding of elections scheduled for February 7, 2026. This budget aims to identify and mobilize the necessary funding to effectively respond to the continued deterioration of the country's economic, financial, social, security and humanitarian situation, which has been largely underestimated [...]"
