Josué Pierre-Louis, the Minister of Justice and Public Safety, officially handed his resignation to the Prime Minister, Dr. Garry Conille, few hours before the interpellation session scheduled for Tuesday 23. In a short letter dated November 22, the Minister explains :

"Mr. Prime Minister,

I have the honor to present you my compliments and I take this opportunity to thank you to have, in agreement with the President of the Republic, makes appeals to me to help you in your difficult mission in the service of the State.

However, the current conjuncture commands me to present my resignation as Minister of Justice and Public Safety. he current climate does not allow me to implement with all the necessary serenity the roadmap entrusted to me.

Be assured of my availability to lead the noble struggle in order to the establishment irreversible in Haiti of a genuine rule of law.

Please accept, Mr. Prime Minister, with my patriotic greeting, the expression of my highest consideration."
