Haiti - Politic : Arnel Bélizaire, in mission to the United States
The deputy Arnel Bélizaire who makes the headlines, since his return from Paris, and his arrest considered illegal and arbitrary by a large majority of parliamentarians, politicians and civil society, is currently in mission in the U.S. federal capital, Washington. The deputy has left the country Wednesday, he will return to Haiti on November 22.

His office informes that the deputy of Delmas-Tabarre (Veye Yo), Arnel Bélzaire is part of a delegation of elected representatives of the Lower House who will advocate to the U.S. Congress the cause of the victims of January 12, in order to provide them with houses.

"The restoration of the army is not a priority today for the U.S. Congress the objective is to move people from makeshift camps to house" the statement said.

During this mission, the members will have meetings with various U.S. politicians whose the Democrat senators John Kerry, Patrick Leahy and the Republican Senator Richard Lugar.
