Garry Conille back in Haiti

Saturday June 1st, 2024, Garry Conille, Prime Minister unanimously elected by the Presidential Transitional Council (CPT) while he was abroad, returned to Haiti. He took off from Miami International Airport on a Sunrise Airways flight around 10:30 a.m. The outgoing Prime Minister, Michel Patrick Boisvert, welcomed him to the Diplomatic Salon. The two men had a first one-on-one meeting as a prelude to future working sessions to facilitate the transition.

Flights between the DR and Haiti still suspended

Dominican Airports Siglo XXI (Aerodom), which manages and operates 6 international airports in the Dominican Republic, informs that commercial flights between the Dominican Republic and Haiti remain suspended despite the fact that certain airlines had announced the reopening of flight operations.
