Haiti - FLASH : Aftershock of 4.3 on Petit-Goâve

This morning at 6:35 and 35 seconds, an earthquake was felt in the area of ​​Petit-Goave, Port Royal (18.445°N, 72.897°W). In some neighborhood the inhabitants have panicked and left their home for the street.

With a magnitude of 4.3 on the Richter scale, the epicenter was located 10 km deep in the land of the west side of the Bay of Petit-Goâve, 1.3 km northeast of Port Royal , at 4 km east of Petit-Goâve, 14 km west of Grand Goave, 28 km southwest of Léogâne and 60 km southwest of the capital, Port-au-Prince.

This aftershock was reported by the United States Geological Survey (USGS), and in the metropolitan area on the seismographs of Catts Pressoir College and Lycée Alexandre Dumas (French School).

At the moment the civil protection has not reported any damage or casualties.
