Haiti - FLASH : The PNH denies the assassination of members of the High Command

The General Directorate of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) has become aware of false rumors circulating on social networks suggesting the assassination of members of the High Command of the PNH.

The Directorate formally denies these allegations, which are part of a destabilizing maneuver aimed at weakening the unity of the Command and consequently attacking the morale of the troops who are waging a constant fight against armed gangs.

The High Command of the PNH takes the opportunity to reassure the public of its unwavering commitment to the protection of lives and property against the gravediggers of the Fatherland and guarantees that the Police continue and will continue to assume their responsibilities in order to safeguard the values of the Republic, public peace and security.

The PNH continues to seek out and prosecute members of this group who direct criminal actions towards police officers, including members of the High Command, so that they can answer for their crimes before the courts.
