Friday April 5, 2024, following the customs control of a container coming from the United States, the Haitian National Police in concert with agents of the Customs Administration, made a significant seizure of weapons and ammunition in the port of Cap Haïtien.

Weapons and ammunition seized :

12 assault rifles

14 9mm pistols

999 cartridges including 638 of 2.56 caliber

278 caliber 9 mm

52 caliber 7.62

36 of 40 caliber

34 chargers
