2 lawyers kidnapped and executed
Wednesday April 3rd, 2024, in a note, the Council of the Saint-Marc Bar Association confirms that Me Jean Eddy Rousseau of the Saint-Marc bar and Me Richard Pauléus of the Gonaïves bar, were kidnapped in Savari, a locality des Verrettes and executed. The lifeless bodies of the two lawyers were found in the Rondo area.

MMSS : Trinidad & Tobago will not provide any military aid
The Government of Trinidad and Tobago declared earlier this week that it will not provide any military assistance to the Multinational Security Support Mission (MMSS) to assist the Haitian National Police (PNH) cden Haiti, explaining that the country is not able to provide military forces, police officers or agents on the ground for this Support Mission.
